Recovery Timeline
First 1 to 2 Weeks: Swelling and bruising (especially around the lower eyelids if you had an osteotomy) are common. They improve within 2 to 3 weeks, with 80% of swelling subsiding.
3 to 6 Months: Remaining swelling gradually decreases, revealing your final results.
Comfort and Care
Most patients need narcotic pain relief for 24 to 48 hours, then transition to milder options.
Nasal packing, if used, is removed within 3 to 5 days. You'll typically wear a splint for 1 to 2 weeks.
