Dr. Burden,
In 1999, I was referred to and met Dr. Burden to do a breast reconstruction after a mastectomy. I had been diagnosed with breast cancer. At the time, my mother was receiving chemo and radiation for lung and brain cancer. It was one of the most challenging times of my life. My mother died 9 months after she was diagnosed, the very morning of my mother in laws funeral 600 miles away.
When I met Dr. Burden and his staff I had a sense of “I’m going to be alright-a return to normalcy” to my life again. Little did I know how much! Dr. Burden and his staff assured me I was going to be fine. They were concerned about my physical, emotional and peace of mind issues each time I went in for treatment. Dr. Burden and his staff have a true passion for all of their patients. I always looked forward to seeing everyone at all of my appointments.
I recently had another procedure this year. Yes, the same staff and passion I experienced in 1999 is still there today.
